Symphony EDA is a worldwide leader in HDL simulation technology, delivering verification solutions with the highest levels of performance, value, and accessibility to the FPGA and ASIC design community. Symphony EDA produces "the tools of choice of the FPGA and ASIC engineer" by focusing on fundamental design productivity needs such as performance, usability, standards conformance, and quality & responsiveness of technical support.

Founded in 2001, Symphony EDA started out modestly as the part-time research effort and technology vehicle of President/CTO and 20-year EDA industry veteran Haneef Mohammed. Symphony EDA's first product offering in 2001 was essentially VHDL shareware -- offering basic command-line simulation capability to the public at no charge. Late 2003 saw the launch of Symphony EDA's first commercially viable simulator, equipped with an integrated GUI and development environment. Since late 2004, Symphony EDA has been firing on multiple cylinders, releasing new products, growing its R&D efforts, and developing an aggressive technology roadmap.

VHDL Simili 3.0, based on our second-generation ZEOS technology, is the result of many years of intense research and development layered upon our vast experience in simulation, design, synthesis, physical verification and algorithm development. VHDL Simili 3.0 not only offers an unparalleled cost-performance point for RTL and gate-level simulation, but also lays the foundation for our future solutions. The future of simulation, and design verification in general, is very diverse and the complexity of both the designs themselves and the productivity challenges are only getting bigger. We intend to be close to our customers' needs so we can produce timely, value-added solutions.

Symphony EDA is a highly internet-centric company -- automation and efficiency are central not only to our software tools, but also to how we run our organization. By using the internet as our primary channel of communication with our customers, we are able to make our technology and products highly accessible. Accessibility to us involves licensing, cost, support, distribution, etc. Using the internet, we are glad to be able to provide world class products at affordable prices.
